My vehicle was snatched along Lagos-Abeokuta expressway. I immediately contacted my friend who in turn contacted COTEK. My car was tracked and shut down along the expressway. Unfortunately, it was vandalized a little bit, which was due to the frustration of the robbers as they tried to tow the car but were unable to.

I used to be of the notion that in NIgeria, nothing works but Cotek's Cotrac proved me wrong. Funny as it may sound, the driver of my bus stole the bus and drove it down to Ajah while I was away in a conference in Epe. I quickly alerted Cotek and they swung into action. They were committed and competent at their job and within 3hours, the car was tracked, spoted and the police was alerted. My ignorant driver,not knowing what he was dealing with, thought that the car had developed a mechnanical fault and contacted a mechanic in a bid to fix the problem. It was t this point that the Police, who had already laid ambush for him, arrested him. It was such a fantastic performance!
With my experience, I now believe that Cotek's tracking system works and I'll continue to spread the word

A Toyota Hiace 18 seater bus was STOLEN by the Driver of the Bus from Edo State on the 7th of Feb. 2009. He drove the bus to Ajah in Lagos on the same day as he collected the key from the office, under the pretext that he was going to the airport to pick the MD. The case was reported to me around 7.30pm in Epe where I went for a conference. I quickly alerted COTEK about it and they swung into action. I was particularly happy about the COTEK staff that I reported to as he calmed me down and reassured me that the bus will be found. He then told me to give him just 5 minutes that he would get back to me. I didn’t believe but I just held my breath, knowing that in Nigeria when you paid for a particular service, at your point of need they will fail you; but I am so happy that CoTrac didn’t fail me. It was a fantastic performance.
I was also impressed by their Lagos staff who took the case up immediately since the stolen vehicle was found, when tracked to their jurisdiction. They were so committed and very patient people because we involved the police and spent nothing less than 3 hours at the police station at Ajah.
I want to mention that the staff were all there to provide soft landing for me, because it was a real shocking experience.
In any case the bus was tracked, found and recovered in Ajah ,Lagos by COTEK security tracking company and the police in Ajah also performed excellently well as they laid ambush for the driver and arrested him when he came to pick the bus with his mechanic as he thought it was a mechanical fault when the vehicle didn’t start the following day.
With my experience I now believe the tracking system works and since then, I have given them 12 vehicles belonging to our company which were not tracked. Also I have directed many of my friends to COTEK.

It was like a dream, I subscribed with CoTrac blindly. I never knew the importance not until thursday 26th March, 2009 at about 2.40pm when my car was stolen at the Federal Secretariat.

The car was parked with my Wife and driver when three armed men came out from nowhere and collected the car keys at gun point. The robber’s asked if they had any security system installed in the car but they replied ‘no’. My wife then called me immediately of which I in turn alerted Cotek Control Base Station. They were given the last location of the car and they took over from there. The robbers were already on their way to Agbor, when they saw a police road block and headed back to Asaba, Delta State and into a bush path. There was no GSM service for about 2hrs and the robbers where roaming the bush path so we had no contact with the vehicle.
At exactly 9.14pm same day, I received a message on my cellphone with the vehicle’s location and at about 9.20pm to be precise, the vehicle was shut down with a report on its exact location. I received a phone call from Cotek afterwards that my car had been discovered and the police was going in for the recovery. The Car was later found by 10.30pm at Iselukwu in Aniocha North local government area of Delta State. After a serious gun fire confrontation, the Robbers took to their heels.The car was recovered by the police and taken back to their station. I receive my Jeep the next morning from the police station. It was so amazing…

Last summer, I drove my family from Kaduna to Jos, for a mini-vacation. Since we couldn’t check into our hotel until afternoon, we went straight to Solomon Lar amusement Amusement Park. Our car was loaded with suitcases and a cooler full of food. After spending the morning at the park, we returned to the car for a picnic lunch. Well, that lunch turned out to be no picnic. When I bought my used Toyota Camry, I initially resisted the dealer’s attempt to sell me CoTrac because my car came with an alarm system and kill switch.
